Expressions of interest invited for judicial appointments to the Federal Court of Australia
The Albanese Government is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people to serve as judges of the Federal Court of Australia.
Candidates are sought who:
- meet the legislative requirements for statutory appointment
- have deep expertise in areas of law likely to come before the Court
- possess exceptional legal, organisational, decision-making and communication skills
- are committed to serving all members of our community.
The Government encourages applications from candidates reflecting the diversity of the Australian community.
This transparent and merit-based process reflects the Albanese Government’s commitment to ensuring integrity and diversity in the judiciary.
