Reappointment of Mark Bielecki as Registered Organisations Commissioner

I am pleased to announce the reappointment of Mr Mark Bielecki as Registered Organisations Commissioner for a 2-year term, commencing 1 May 2022.

The Registered Organisations Commission is the independent regulator of registered unions and employer associations. Mr Bielecki, a senior lawyer experienced in regulation and compliance, has served as the Registered Organisations Commissioner for the past 5 years. I congratulate Mr Bielecki on his reappointment.

Biography – Mark Bielecki

Before his appointment as Registered Organisations Commissioner, Mr Bielecki was Principal at Normanby Partners, Lawyers.

Between 2009 and 2015, Mr Bielecki was Senior Executive Leader, Senior Legal Counsel and Regional Commissioner, South Australia, with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Before then, Mr Bielecki held various roles in law firms including at Cusoff Cudmore Knox, Thomson Playford Lawyers, PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal and Finlaysons Lawyers. Mr Bielecki has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.
